I would have to say that I really enjoy how our society
today has morphed completely online.
There are many things that individuals are doing online that haven’t
been done before. Some of the IT & E-Commerce Forecasts that I speak of are
the following:
1)
Wireless
2)
Biometrics
3)
Web 2.0
4)
Entertainment-on-Demand
5)
Global Access
6)
Artificial Intelligence
7)
Virtual Reality
8)
Optical Computers
9)
Quantum Computers
10) Thought
Power
These elements are just a fraction of what we can actually
do online. Many diabetics can track their blood sugar online via using mobile
application markets that they have downloaded on their smart phones. Thousands of college students at one time or
another have taken online classes and benefited from joining the group of
college graduates. Therefore, there are
many telecommuters that work from their home office and log in “virtually” to
get the job done, that they were hired to do.
Moreover, there has also been a surge in the mobile/ online banking
market. This is something that users are
able to do, especially if they are too busy to deposit checks or manage their
accounts by physically going to the bank.
In addition, IT/E-Commerce has proven to be very beneficial and useful
to thousands across the globe. Technology
promise has given us the results of how our society’s internet usage will
increase 30% during the next decade. It
also gives us the idea of how information technology changes everything.
